About Mobtropolis
Mobtropolis makes it easy to post photos of your adventures, big or small, from your digital camera or mobile phone onto a simple tumblelog. You can also challenge friends to fun things, and share and trophy your accomplishments to them.
See other people doing the same adventures, and discover other new interesting things to do with lists of active, fresh, and top scenes. Mobtropolis aggregates details from people doing these things and put it together to help you do them as well.
Mobtropolis was founded out of the belief that the world around us is rich with experience, and we only ever see a small fraction of it. It's often too easy to fall into the rut of simply eating dinner, watching movies, or going clubbing with friends to entertain ourselves.
You can look for interesting things to do or submit your own. What is mundane for you might be an adventure for others. You never know what's out there until you start looking.
About 3cglabs
3cglabs was started in early 2005, and is currently based out of Chicago.
Mobtropolis was deployed as its fifth endeavor, and was released as public alpha v0.1
on August 27th, 2007. It was relaunched as public beta v0.6 on March 29th, 2008.
